Grab and Go Mini: The Best Portable Power Solution for Starlink Mini

Your Ultimate Off-Grid Internet Solution

Have you ever been on the road, just cruising along, when suddenly you realize you’ve made a wrong turn? Maybe you try to pull up Google Maps or Waze for a quick reroute, but… oh wait, no signal. It's like you’ve stepped into a technological Bermuda Triangle.

Or perhaps your job sends you to some far-flung, remote location. You need to send reports, check in with the office, or—let's be honest—watch cat videos to survive the day. But the internet? It’s MIA. Oh, and then there’s the “I’m working the land, burning off the top paddocks, can’t make it back for hours (or days)” dilemma, which means no Wi-Fi, no signal.

We’ve all been there. You need the internet or at least a phone signal. And then... nada.

Now, let’s talk about the 3G phase-out. This one’s a real kicker. It’s like mobile connectivity went from "yeehaw!" to "sigh." Big telcos seem to have missed the memo about regions still being stuck in 3G purgatory. And just when you think you're in the sweet spot of 5G, bam! You hit the road and it drops down to 4G... and then—yep, you guessed it—nothing. Absolute zero. It’s like going from a rock concert to a library.

But Don't Panic! We’ve Got Your Back.

At Outback Comms, we believe that remote connectivity shouldn't be a luxury, it should be a given. That’s why we’ve designed the Grab & Go Mini—your new best friend in staying connected, even when the rest of the world has forgotten where the signal bar lives.

The Grab & Go Mini is a portable Starlink system that’s powered by your trusty batteries and encased in a waterproof Pelican™ Case. Whether you're navigating through the Outback, working remote or simply trying to check if it’s going to rain on your camping trip, this device is designed to keep you online, no matter where the road takes you.

Key Features:

  • Reliable Remote Connectivity: Your ticket to the world of uninterrupted internet in the most far-flung corners of the Earth.
  • Portable: No need to pull over and set up camp every time you need a connection—simply pack in your car like a suitcase.
  • Built for Extreme Australian Conditions: If it can survive the Aussie Outback, it can handle your coffee spill or being dropped off the back of the ute.
  • Adaptable batteries: Suitable for Milwaukee, Makita or Dwalt batteries as standard options. The batteries are isolated so you can hot swap them out as long as one is always connected and charged, the unit will stay online.
  • Perfect for Mining, Agriculture, Emergency Services, and More: Whether you're in a mine pit, running a report on a construction site or trying to find the best route to a farm-to-table restaurant, this system has you covered.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Will it still work while it’s inside the case?

Absolutely! The magic of RF transparency means that the Starlink dish can still communicate with low-Earth orbit satellites (LEOs) even if it's snug inside the Pelican™ case. No need to remove it—just hit the road …or water and let it do its thang!

How long will it run on a single battery?

Well, that depends. Like a good road trip playlist, the battery life depends on a few things. The more devices connected and the more often you use it, the quicker it’ll drain. On average, each 5Ah battery (18v/20v) gives you around 1.5 to 2 hours of connectivity. Not bad for a quick office check-in, online meeting or catching up on your favorite TV series while you’re stuck in the middle of nowhere.

By the way, our cases have a built-in battery cradle that can store up to three batteries. Need more? No problem! Just holler at us, and we’ll work our magic.

The Freedom of Connectivity

The truth is, we’ve all had those moments where we need the internet. Whether it’s for work, calling for help in an emergency, or simply keeping the kids entertained when the rain decides to ruin your camping trip, you know you’ll need a signal when it counts.

Sure, we all crave the occasional digital detox, but let’s face it: the internet is basically part of our survival kit now. Having the ability to always be connected, especially in remote areas where traditional service providers fail, is a game-changer.

In Summary

Whether you’re out in the wilderness, kayaking a river or navigating the urban jungle, the Grab & Go Mini ensures you’ll never be stuck without a signal again. Because in this day and age, connectivity is key—whether you’re on a remote farm or mine site, stuck in traffic, or simply trying to figure out which way to go next (without relying on a questionable sense of direction).
